We are looking for a
Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
to help design, build, and operate highly available and scalable systems. You will play a key role in improving the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our platform, partnering closely with development teams and infrastructure engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy infrastructure solutions that support scalable and resilient applications.
- Own and continuously improve the reliability and availability of core systems and services.
- Design and implement fully automated CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications.
- Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to production issues and drive root cause resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (preferred), or Pulumi for infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience using one or more cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their IaC frameworks.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Proficient in Kubernetes operations, including deploying and troubleshooting workloads, managing namespaces, services, deployments, ingress controllers, and performing routine cluster maintenance.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience operating self-managed Kubernetes-deployed open-source services, such as Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redis, or InfluxDB clusters.
- Familiarity with platform cost optimization and infrastructure budgeting.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing highly scalable and resilient systems in complex environments.
- Ability to work within constraints to solve both existing and emergent system reliability challenges.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into business-relevant discussions and manage stakeholder expectations.
