Your job

You will join a very exciting SAP EWM and SAP TM implementation project for Zumtobel main and central distribution center.

Takeover responsibility for processes and system customizing within Zumtobel EWM system implemented in projects Fit4Future and Digital Factory. Further system optimization to fulfill business requirements and sustain system operation. Stabilize the system after EWM system implementation in Zumtobel central finished goods distribution center (Dornbirn and external warehouse Honenems) and take active role in further projects.

Role Definition and key responsibilities:

  • SAP EWM Business Consulting & Customization
    – Lead process optimization, system changes, and configuration for finished goods and production warehouses.
  • SAP EWM Implementation
    – Contribute to the rollout in Dornbirn (Austria), ensuring seamless integration with automated intralogistics (e.g., high-bay warehouses, electric monorail systems).
  • Process Automation & Optimization
    – Support and enhance the PPF framework to streamline warehouse processes.
  • End-to-End Business Process Design
    – Define and harmonize SCM processes, implement improvements, train key users, and support test phases and system go-lives.
  • System Support & Troubleshooting
    – Provide 3rd-level support, leveraging project expertise to resolve operational issues.
  • Business Requirements & Development Coordination
    – Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, working with developers to implement system extensions.
  • System Integration & Architecture
    – Support SAP EWM & ERP integration (IDoc, DRF) and ensure smooth communication between SAP EWM, TM, and external systems using Web Services, APIs, and EDI.

Your profile

  • Professional Experience
    : Minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting within SAP applications.- Experience working with SAP EWM and SAP ERP. Other logistic related applications and SAP TM would be an advantage.
  • Project Involvement
    : Proven track record of contributing to multiple projects from start to finish, especially SAP EWM implementations, optimizations.- Experience in business process analysis and design within SCM area.
  • Process orientation
    : SAP EWM: inbound, outbound and internal processes, system customizing, MFS integration to automatic warehouses, EWM monitor, etc.- E2E Process understanding- Integration to SAP ERP, SAP MM, WM, LE-TRA and integration with other modules. SAP TM would be an advantage.
  • System oriented
    : System customization, specifications of system extensions and working with developers
  • Problem-Solving
    : Good technical understanding on the consultant level - system architecture, integration to other systems, debagging skills (no development skills required)
  • Communication and Collaboration
    : Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.- Moderation of workshops with key users to analyse, validate and test processes- Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Continuous Learning
    : Willingness to stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends. Openness to learning new tools and frameworks as needed.
  • Structured and efficient working
    : Documentation: functional and technical specifications, documentation of system changes and customizing
  • Travel
    : Willingness to travel (up to 20-30% depends on project activities)
