About the job:
We are looking for a
*Senior QA Automation Engineer*
to help us shape and build the future of our tools and products in the payments area. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining test suites for our web applications and RESTful APIs. It's a green field project so you can expect to work with cutting edge technologies. It's a multi-cultural and geographically distributed team where most of the communication is happening online using audio and video conferencing tools.

W
hat you'll be getting up to:

• Working as part of the development team to provide technical expertise and support in manual testing.
• Ability to understand, analyse, evaluate and act upon business requirements forming a basis for Agile development approaches.
• Identify components to be tested and define rapid and pragmatic fit for purpose testing in alignment with the rest of development teams.
• Identify regression scenario and maintain regression suite for every new feature.
• Learn the existing automation & performance test framework and contribute in adding new tests and maintaining existing regression tests.
• Gather, analyse and summarise test results.
• Follow best practices, promote industry standards and ensure our products are reliable with an excellent user experience.
• Guide other QAs on the best practices in test analysis, automation and execution.
• Understand business requirements and their impact on delivery, identify and work together with product owner and business stakeholders to gather missing requirements.
• Be flexible to support your applications outside of working hours during major sport events (in rota with your peers and team mates) or during releases that may happen outside of standard working hours (which is not very usual).

R
equirements:

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems and Technologies or other relevant field.
• At least 6 years working experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer for different software development projects.
• At least 2 years working experience in a Senior QA position.
• Proven experience in creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Experience in manual testing with RESTful Web Services using any of following tools: SOAPUI, Postman, Insomnia.
• Basic knowledge of at least one modern programming language, preferably JavaScript/Typescript or Java.
• Experience with Playwright or Cypress, alternatively Selenium or Appium.
• Experience with source control system tools such as Gitlab.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Basic knowledge of Linux command line (bash).
• Understanding of continuous integration/delivery.
• Experienced in performance testing using tools like K6 or JMeter.
• Good oral and written English communication skills.
• Comfortable working as part of multicultural and geographically distributed development team.
• Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
• Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable skills and experience:

• Able to create load test scripts, analyse and interpret data from execution results, produce meaningful reports.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Functional, integration and unit testing using JUnit or TestNG, Cucumber.
• A background in online gaming or payments would be ideal, but we would love to hear from people who have any high transaction throughput systems knowledge and experience.
