A day in the life of a Trade Marketing Executive:

  • Ensures agreed Category Growth Drivers and Activation Platforms are illustrated in all initiatives: from innovations to route-to-market, price/promo strategies and shopper communication.
  • Implements Category Channel plans in line with agreed channel prioritisation (ON TRADE / OFF TRADE / ONLINE).
  • Ensures channel plans are reflected in sales plans and trade execution.
  • Coordinates execution and tracks delivery of commercial plans to leverage opportunities, maximize synergies and optimise resources.
  • Implements POSM process to reduce losses and tracks competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Monitors budget spending and optimises promotion plans to improve ROI.
  • Support in managing budget for trade marketing and marketing activities.
  • Creating reports on campaign results and sales activities; monitoring implementation and analysing the effectiveness of brand activations by channels and customers (ON & OFF TRADE).
  • Market analysis, monitoring and analysing competition and consumer needs at the level of sales channels.
  • Preparation and implementation of promotional materials (soft POSM, secondary placements, bar equipment, etc.).
  • Developing good relationships with marketing agencies and external partners.
  • Organisation of promotional activities and events across the market.
  • Preparation of reports and presentations on campaign results and sales activities on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis.

Required qualifications:

  • VI or VII level of professional qualification in the fields of economics, marketing, management, or a similar area.
  • Previous experience in similar or the same positions is preferred.
  • Good organisational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to work in a team and under pressure.
  • Knowledge of English language (intermediate to advanced level).
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Category B driving license.
  • Previous experience working with the HORECA channel is an advantage.
