RF Planning/Optimization Engineer - Student Trainee Program/Junior Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Radio Network Planning/Optimization Engineer to join our team, working in support of telecom operator projects. This is a great opportunity for candidates with a foundational understanding of mobile networks and a desire to grow their technical expertise in real-world deployments.

As RF Engineer, candidate will participate in following activities:

  • RF design,

  • Coverage planning, including coverage and RF propagation modelling in Atoll

  • Capacity planning with Aspire Smart Capex methodology

  • Quality planning, including network deployment strategy definition

  • Network performance modelling with Aspire Cell Performance Signature methodology

  • Analysis of RAN performance as part of RAN Expert audit

  • Research implementation of AI and ML techniques to enrich RAN planning processes

  • Analysis of network configuration, consistency checks and parameters entropy

  • Technology sunset strategy (2G/3G sunset)

  • Traffic management strategy (load balancing between technologies/layers)

  • Mobility management strategy (idle/active mode)

  • Development of Aspire Net Planner, NetConfig, RANalyzer and Mobility manager software solution (use case definition, research studies – ML/Performance modelling, product improvements, SW testing…)

We offer two
ways of engagement, depending on candidate preference:

  • Paid trainee program (20 hours per week) + mentorship (B.Sc/M.Sc thesis)

  • Full time job – Professional services junior (40 hours per week)
