About this role:

We are seeking an experienced marketing leader to head up cross-channel customer acquisition for our fast-growing work intelligence platform. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role involves managing a cross-functional team focused on demand generation, SEO and website development. The ideal candidate has deep experience with digital demand generation strategies, primarily centered on SEM and SEO, and social and digital advertising.

This position is based in Belgrade, Serbia, and is crucial for growing the platform and running sales-aligned lead generation campaigns, targeting ARR growth with a direct impact on month-to-month performance targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Runs a high-performance marketing team out of our Belgrade office, working directly with the VP of Marketing in NYC to deliver on company revenue goals and customer acquisition priorities.
  • Lead implementation of audience-based digital marketing strategies ranging from programmatic SEM and SEO to digital display advertising, video ads, automated email campaigns and online affiliate marketing.
  • Collaborate directly with members of the sales team and with marketers and external agencies to execute an account-based marketing strategy (ABM) for enterprise SaaS customers.
  • Run multi-channel campaigns including gated content, webinars and sponsored digital events to generate leads and increase product awareness.
  • Oversees a high-performance website presence optimized for SEO outcomes and aligned to performance marketing best practices in all disciplines.
  • Works closely with marketing team members to prepare marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives and keeps the team up to date on project status at all times.
  • Takes an active role in improving the customer experience of the company's product-led strategy, including via digital channels, including email, SMS, and the digital product experience.
  • Provides timely and professional updates on project status to executive leadership and coordinates meetings, briefings, and requests to ensure all feedback is accounted for in each project.
  • Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data from multiple data gathering tools – delivers clear, summarized insights instead of data slop.
  • Organize CRM data and improve use of prospect data in marketing and sales campaigns.
  • Keep the company up-to-date with market trends and competition, and keep us several steps ahead of the competition at all times.

Requirements/Key Attributes:

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of marketing experience; B2B SaaS industry preferred.
  • Supervisory experience managing a team (hybrid and virtual team management).
  • Excellent communicator who has demonstrated mastery of cross-team communication; knows how to keep team members on-task and on-schedule in a fast-moving, rapidly changing environment.
  • Expert knowledge of search-based and social-based advertising and content marketing techniques is a must.
  • Expert knowledge of digital marketing best practices, implementation steps and strategy, including prior experience with developing marketing plans and/or strategies.
  • Past experience in the software industry and marketing to B2B audiences that include technical (IT) buyers; experience with SaaS products is a strong preference.
  • A highly analytical approach, used in a wide range of responsibilities, from customer development, to product adoption, to sales processes.
  • Proficiency in JIRA or similar project management tools is expected. Proficiency in Hubspot, Webflow, Notion and Looker is a plus.
  • Bonus experience and skills include MBA, and certifications for digital advertising, marketing automation, and CRM.
