Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Junior QA Automation Engineer with around 2 years of experience in software testing to join our growing QA team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with practical experience in test automation who wants to advance their skills in Java and Selenium, expand their QA expertise, and contribute to delivering high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Execute and maintain automated tests using Java and Selenium
• Debug and troubleshoot failing automated tests
• Design, implement, and update automated test cases based on new or changing requirements
• Participate in test planning and execution
• Design and maintain manual test cases
• Use Test Management Tools to track and report test results
• Collaborate with QA and development team members across all phases of the SDLC
• Identify, document, and verify bugs and defects to ensure timely resolution
• Apply appropriate testing approaches and methodologies depending on the project
• Contribute to documentation related to QA processes and tools

You should have

• Around 2 years of experience in software testing, primarily focused on web applications
• Solid hands-on experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Understanding of SDLC and QA's role throughout the process
• Familiarity with black-box testing and test case design
• Experience using test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Jira)
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman
• Willingness to work in Linux and use the terminal
• Understanding of Agile principles and how QA fits within Agile teams
• English proficiency (minimum B2 level) and ability to write simple test reports

Nice to have

• Experience with Playwright or Cypress
• Familiarity with mobile automation tools (e.g., Appium)
• Experience with API automation using Rest Assured or similar libraries
• Experience using Git and basic terminal commands
• Understanding of Docker and how containers are used in testing environments
