Job Description

We are looking for a curious and motivated Junior QA Engineer to join our growing QA team. This is a great opportunity for someone with up to 2 years of experience who wants to deepen their QA knowledge, learn from experienced engineers and actively contribute to delivering high-quality software. You'll be working in an Agile environment and have the chance to explore different testing types and tools while gradually building ownership and independence in your work.

Responsibilities

• Participate in test planning and execution
• Design and maintain manual test cases
• Create simple automation scripts under guidance
• Use Test Management Tools to track and report test results
• Collaborate with QA and development team members across all phases of the SDLC
• Report bugs clearly and follow up on resolutions
• Apply different testing methodologies depending on the project
• Contribute to documentation related to QA processes and tools

You should have

• Up to 2 years of experience in software testing: Web, mobile and desktop applications (internships count)
• Basic understanding of SDLC and QA's role in it
• Familiarity with black-box testing and test case design
• Experience using test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Jira)
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript)
• Experience with automation frameworks - Selenium and Playwright
• Willingness to work in Linux and use the terminal
• Understanding of Agile principles and how they apply to QA
• English proficiency (minimum B2 level) and ability to write simple test reports

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Cypress automation tool
• Familiarity with mobile automation tools (e.g., Appium)
• Experience using Git and basic terminal commands
• Understanding of Docker and how containers are used in testing environments
