Quality Engineer

Shenchi Automotive Parts Ltd., part of Shenchi Shanghai, has been a high-end service supplier in the global automotive industry for over 30 years. Originating in Shanghai in 1992, Shenchi has expanded to include three plants and has specialized in developing and manufacturing innovative automotive products such as seat frame assemblies, engine components, safety system parts, sunroof frame assemblies, chassis parts, and relevant high-precision stamping dies. Founded on April 10, 2020, Shenchi Automotive Parts Ltd. is the company's first investment outside of China, focusing on producing car seat frames, safety components, and other related products for the European market.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Engineer located in Kragujevac.

Main responsibilities

• Ensures the quality of products and components that are an integral part of the whole product, in all processes, in accordance with the control plan,

• Ensures that products and components that do not meet the required quality specifications are removed from all processes, and adequately blocked in accordance with the control plan.

• Provides corrective and preventive measures in order to maintain the quality of products and components that are an integral part of the whole product, in all processes and in accordance with the control plan,

• Ensures the quality of all processes, in accordance with the control plan and quality standards according to technical standards IATF 16949 and VDA , in order to achieve satisfactory results of internal and external checks (audits),

• Provides and implements action plans, related to the results of internal and external audits and product testing at the customer's location,

• Provides customer support in the context of analyzing advertised products

• Ensures product quality control, aesthetic and functional in accordance with the control plan with the aim of achieving and fulfilling the customer's requirements,

• Ensures continuous improvement of products and components that are an integral part of the whole product, through monitoring and analysis of PPM (Parts Per Million) statistics using quality tools and methods, 8D, PFMEA, 5WHY, MSA, APQP, 5S,

• Provides control plans, preparation and updating in accordance with the current state of quality and components that are an integral part of the whole product,

• Provides quality analysis of products and components, as well as processes using statistical process analysis (SPC-CPK),

• Ensures quality monitoring of products delivered to the customer,

• Provides training and support to members of the quality department,

• Ensures the approval of machinery and equipment for production, from the point of view of quality,

• Ensures the implementation, updating of the quality management system, training of employees regarding the quality management system, introduction of new procedures, instructions and records of the quality management system,

• Ensures relations with the customer in order to maintain the quality of products and components that are an integral part of the whole product,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• English language (speaking speaking and writing
• Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
