Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize data pipelines — including interfaces, automation, and transformation workflows;
  • Collaborate with customers to understand reporting needs and build tailored SQL dashboards and reports;
  • Work with HelloDATA's open-source data management stack, contributing to scalable, modular data solutions;
  • Ensure clean, reliable, and well-modeled data flows across cloud and on-prem environments;
  • Maintain and extend ETL/ELT processes using tools such as Airflow and custom Python scripts;
  • Translate business requirements into structured data transformations and usable reporting layers;
  • Participate in deployment and operations of data infrastructure across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP);
  • Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability through continuous monitoring and optimization.

Required Technical & Professional Expertise

  • Strong experience in data engineering or data pipeline development, preferably in open-source ecosystems;
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, validation, and automation;
  • Hands-on experience with Airflow, Superset, or similar workflow and visualization tools;
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and cloud-native data architecture;
  • Comfortable working closely with end users and customers in a consultative, solution-oriented approach;
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to data consistency and quality;
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience);
  • Good communication skills in English.

Bonus skills (Nice to have)

  • Familiarity with the HelloDATA open source ecosystem or similar composable data stacks;
  • Experience with data modeling, data lake architecture, or modern DWH platforms;
  • Understanding of DevOps practices in the context of data infrastructure (CI/CD for data workflows, IaC);
  • Experience in customer-facing or consulting roles.

  • Strong communication skills, especially when working directly with customers and business stakeholders;
  • Structured and methodical approach to building reliable and scalable data systems;
  • Eager to work in collaborative, agile, and technically curious teams.
