Lead Structural Engineer
to drive the structural design and execution of major projects in Bor and Majdanpek.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and analysis of structural systems for mining facilities, including processing plants, conveyor galleries, silos, and support structures.
  • Prepare and review engineering documentation, structural calculations, and detailed drawings in compliance with
    Eurocode
    and Serbian regulations.
  • Ensure structural integrity, safety, and cost-efficiency through all project phases.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical) to integrate structural solutions into complex mining projects.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and CAD technicians.
  • Conduct on-site inspections, oversee construction quality, and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain direct communication with Zijin Mining Group project teams, contractors, and local authorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Proven expertise in steel and reinforced concrete design, preferably for heavy industrial and mining facilities.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
    : Radimpex Tower, ArmCAD, AutoCAD, Midas Gen, or other equivalent software.
  • Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and Serbian technical standards.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work on project sites in Bor and Majdanpek.
  • Professional Engineering license (Licensed Structural Engineer) is an advantage.
