Besides the USA and Asia, Playstudios Europe opened its doors in Belgrade in 2021.We are a dynamic and young-minded environment, blooming with talented developers, creatives, quality assurance professionals, and other leaders working together to change the face of social gamingDuties and Responsibilities:Game Frontend Development - Collaborate with artists, animators, product owners, project managers, QAs, Game Math Designers to create intuitive and engaging player experiences. Implement responsive, performant, and maintainable front-end features using in-house frameworks and tools. Rapidly prototype and iterate on new features to refine user interactions and visuals.Backend Logic - Design and implement game mechanics, ensuring balanced and engaging gameplay. Develop, maintain, and optimize server-side logic that powers slot mechanics, bonus features and other slot machine features. Collaborate with Game Designers to translate conceptual ideas into robust math models and game logic.Cross-Team Collaboration - Work closely with the Art and Animation teams to ensure seamless integration of assets and gameplay features. Partner with Product Owners and product managers to understand requirements, refine project scope, and deliver features on time. Coordinate with QA to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across both frontend and backend systems.Code Quality & Best Practices - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, employing best practices in software design and architecture. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards and processes. Maintain a scalable and resilient codebase that supports fast iterations and deployment cycles.Agile Development - Operate in a fast-paced environment, using agile methodologies to manage workloads and deliverables. Adapt to evolving priorities and game requirements, ensuring high-quality features are delivered on schedule.Requirements:A minimum of 2 years of work experience in the related industryGood knowledge of gameplay programming Experience with C++, C#, Python or LuaExperience in building and debugging systemsGood knowledge of mathematics, with a focus on probability and statisticsHave the ability to quickly get up to speed with the existing codeComfortable working with new APIs and conceptsWilling to work on projects that might involve a lot of changesSelf-motivated, eager to learn, adaptive and have the ability to effectively communicate with non-technical team membersPlease send your CV in English.About PLAYSTUDIOSPLAYSTUDIOS is the developer and operator of award-winning free-to-play casual games for mobile and social platforms.
