Application Support Expert for Loans and Deposits

Location: Belgrade

Job Description:

• Performing activities in the domain of business analysis and the impact of integrations, when it comes to the Core system, specifically in the area of credit as well as deposit operations;
• Active participation in defining functional specifications (for internal/external development, projects, etc.);
• Implementation, testing, and development of new applications or improvements to existing applications, as well as their operational use;
• Defining and creating requirements for configuring test/production environments (system and network infrastructure);
• Actively communicating with vendors, until the final realization of the requests in question;
• Creating and maintaining documentation through all phases in the software development, implementation, and testing process, while also supporting and participating in the creation of test scenarios;
• Creating/applying SQL queries for data analysis and resolving incidents as well as other requests, to ensure the stability of the Core system;
• Data transformation, generation, and formatting, including exchange with external users and service providers;
• Identifying data involved in integrations with the Core system, for reporting purposes;
• Data quality control based on clearly defined criteria;
• Identifying and implementing solutions in order to eliminate root causes of incidents related to the Core system;
• Establishing monitoring, creating proposals, and participating in the implementation of Core system performance optimizations;
• Providing second-level user support in application systems, related to Core banking applications in the domain of credit and deposit operations;
• Providing support in the parameterization and configuration of business applications;
• Creating and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base with a list of known issues and recommended solutions;
• Preparing technical instructions for application support, as well as instructions for first-line support.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Expectations from Candidates:

• VI/VII level of education in the field of IT, Engineering, Telecommunications, or Organizational Sciences;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the same or similar roles in the IT sector;
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle SQL tools;
• Knowledge of Miscrosoft Office tools;
• Knowledge of Aseba BI is a plus;
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to make data-driven decisions;
• Independence in assessing potential risks and resolving challenges;
• Communication skills;
• Motivation for continuous learning, growth, and development;
• Knowledge of the English language.
