We are increasing food safety and product quality, enhancing sustainability and boosting operational efficiency. We provide cleaning and sanitation solutions to food, beverage, and dairy manufacturing environments through a dual focus on sales and technical service/consultation to new and existing customers. As strong business partners, Ecolab works with customers to develop sanitation plans and programs, evaluate processes and procedures, troubleshoot technical issues and identify and implement operational efficiencies.

Position: Field Service Specialist Food & Beverage Division

Location: Serbia - North Serbia – Novi Sad, Belgrade

What are your duties?

  • Provide technical service on the customer site
  • Ensure performance of the plant and reach TCO (total cost of operations)
  • Build a solid understanding of Ecolab products, customer plant operations and business objectives, and applicable government regulations.
  • Provide industry expertise to customers in terms of sanitation, safety, quality and operations; including assisting with sanitation plans and programs, standard operating procedures, evaluating processes and procedures, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies, and employee training.
  • Manage Ecolab products and equipment; participate in equipment installations, observe and test equipment and product performance, repair or adjust equipment, adjust chemical concentration levels, monitor product inventory and place orders.
  • Implement agreed upon corporate account commitments and proactively inform Contract Manager and District Manager F&B
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of plant staff; build strong business relationships and networks
  • Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements.

What are the requirements?

  • Degree in dairy, food, or agricultural science, engineering, chemistry, biology or technology
  • At least 3 years of experience in the field of F&B processing/manufacturing industries or 2 years experience in technical sales into manufacturing environments.
  •  English language skills proficient;
  •  Driving license – category "B";
  •  Be available for travel within the area responsible for;

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in microbiology
  • Carry aptitude and confidence to deal with large national and multi-national customers
  • General mechanical ability. 
  • Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
