Network Engineer
, based in
Novi Beograd
.

We are looking for a
Network Engineer
who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, high-performing network systems. The role covers both on-prem and cloud environments and requires collaboration with senior engineers, IT, and security teams to ensure smooth 24/7 operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support for network incidents and requests in a 24/7 environment (Cisco & Ubiquiti devices).
  • Monitor network performance and security using tools such as PRTG, Zabbix, Grafana, and vendor dashboards.
  • Configure and troubleshoot wireless networks to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
  • Analyze system and network logs, perform root cause analysis, and apply fixes.
  • Support basic networking tasks in Windows and Linux (DNS, DHCP).
  • Follow security guidelines (ACL, access control) under senior guidance.
  • Maintain documentation of incidents, configurations, troubleshooting steps, and diagrams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience:
    1–3 years in IT/network support or network operations (NOC background preferred).
  • Technical Skills:
    Cisco & Ubiquiti devices, Wi-Fi deployment, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Windows/Linux networking basics, log analysis.
  • Monitoring Tools:
    PRTG, Zabbix, Grafana (Wireshark/Nagios a plus).
  • Soft Skills:
    Strong troubleshooting mindset, clear communicator, ability to work under pressure, readiness for shift work in 24/7 operations.
  • Nice to Have:
    CCNA or CompTIA certification, exposure to Docker/cloud networking, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
