Missions and responsibilities
:
Financial management of multiple project companies during development and construction

• Working closely with the operational project team and local management
• Reporting to the Senior Finance Controller
• The job holder will have responsibility for the preparation of timely and reliable financial information to support the ongoing management and construction of the project and meet all internal/external reporting requirements, drawing down bank debt during construction phase
• Main contacts: Finance Department, Legal Department, Operations (engineers/project managers), external financial partners (banks, shareholders in particular).

Tasks For Companies In Development Or Construction

• Preparing financial reporting: Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for the project entities within your scope (companies under development, construction, and operation), including P&L, CAPEX, OPEX, cash flow, and forecasts, while meeting deadlines. Ensure compliance with the contractual and statutory obligations of project companies: monitoring banking covenants and contractual obligations to financial partners,
• Review and approval of CIT, VAT and withholding tax returns, prepared by accounting service provider;
• Preparation of quarterly group and annual statutory, regulatory and other reporting/returns for companies, both in local GAAP and IFRS.
• Provides the local accountant with all the operational information needed to close the accounts
• Review and approval of statutory financial statements drafted under local GAAP or IFRS by accounting service provider;
• Manage relations with auditors, banks and advisory firms (tax and accounting);
• Participate in a M&A process in coordination with Legal, Finance and Operational teams (due diligence review, SPA or other Legal documentation negotiation);
• Review and update business plans/forecast model as appropriate;
• Advising on strategies to improve Company financial performance and making recommendations on appropriate key financial targets,
• Being in charge of the follow up of the invoices and commitments approval process for all the local companies,
• Drafting all the drawdown notices to the credit lines related to each project related to the project in construction.
• Manage treasury on a day to day basis and prepare cash forecast, managing intra group call for funds when necessary
• Ensure compliance with internal control rules,
• Report any anomaly to management and H/Q
• Supervise the local implementation of the Group ERP and other necessary finance tools;

Qualifications
3+ years working experience in project controlling / accounting or auditing, 5 years is a plus

With preferred background in renewable energy or project financing

As a minimum bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting

Technical Knowledge (ERP systems, Reporting tools, financial analysis) and Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office package

Team player, resilient and with strong business and personal ethics

IFRS and local GAAP accounting knowledge

Very good ability to analyze, interpret and discover correlation between financial, business and accounting data

• Personal Skills :

Languages: Fluent English is a requirement, French is nice to have

Very good organization and planning

Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in high-pressure situations

Ability to summarize in order to quickly conceptualize issues and solutions

Anticipation and reactivity capacity

Ability to work in an informal environment (growing group)
