Job overview:

  • This is position in Operations Department aiming continuous management of Transport network (operations, maintenance and performance management).
  • Related technologies in domains of Access, Backhaul and Optical Transport Network are:
  • IP MPLS/routing in backhaul and aggregation layers,
  • Carrier ethernet in Optical and Backhaul domains,
  • Access network for fixed services (MSAN, xPON, MW, SD WAN)
  • Network Synchronization solutions
  • Related Network Management Systems (covering fault, configuration, performance and inventory management)
  • Key responsibilities are:
  • Secure high availability of transport network elements and related services
  • Coordinate and execute resource and service provisioning tasks
  • Improvement of network administration methodology including automatization
  • Execute and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Participate in continuous monitoring and improvement of transport network preformance
  • Support CNOC team; Participate in On-call service

Requirements:

  • University degree in telecommunications or computer engineering
  • Knowledge in transport network technologies
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
  • Team player, able to work independently
  • Able to handle workload and give good performance even in stressful environment
