Seeking a seasoned professional to craft visually striking game environments through innovative lighting techniques.

A successful candidate will possess expertise in crafting lighting scenarios that meet or exceed art direction and client expectations. They will be able to propose new ideas for realistic lighting schemes, communicate effectively with team members, and maintain a balance between visual quality and performance requirements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of color theory, lighting, and composition, as well as a strong understanding of real-time and pre-rendered techniques. Familiarity with game engines, tools, pipelines, and game development processes is also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Design lighting that matches or exceeds art direction and client's expectations
  • Propose new ideas for realistic lighting schemes
  • Communicate with Art-Director and client representatives
  • Support lighting art needs required for target quality
  • Maintain a balance between visual quality and performance requirements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Lighting artist in the game industry with experience of performing senior or lead level tasks
  • Extensive knowledge of color theory, lighting and composition
  • Understanding of real-time and pre-rendered techniques
  • Familiarity with game engines, tools, pipelines and game development process
