Quality Assurance Professional

This role involves contributing to the enhancement of a sophisticated betting platform that necessitates thorough test coverage to ensure its long-term performance and reliability.

You will be involved in both manual and API testing, as well as assist in refining and maintaining our extensive framework for functional and integration tests, thus securing platform's integrity and consistent user satisfaction.

Your main focus would be on the following:

  • Perform manual and exploratory testing, including functional, regression, smoke, and usability testing, to identify edge cases and unexpected defects.
  • Design clear and detailed test plans and test cases based on both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Execute and maintain API tests using Postman to validate backend logic, data integrity, and system integrations across various endpoints.
  • Test Automation Development & Maintenance: write, execute, and maintain automated functional and integration test scripts using Java and JUnit. While proficiency in Java and JUnit is preferred, we highly value candidates with strong eagerness to quickly learn and apply these technologies from day one.

To join this position, the ideal candidate should have:

  • Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals, including QA methodologies, the role of QA within the software development lifecycle, and test case creation based on requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in executing detailed test cases, accurate identification of defects
  • Proficiency in using bug tracking tools such as JIRA, with the ability to clearly document issues including steps to reproduce, actual vs. expected results
  • Familiarity with test case management and defect tracking tools like TestRail
  • Evident understanding of APIs and hands-on experience using Postman for API testing
  • Ability to write simple SQL queries for data validation within a database
  • Familiarity with programming in Java (or other programming languages) and hands-on experience with test suit libraries like Junit, TestNG or similar
