About The Role And The Team
As an ITIL Change Manager at Hyperoptic, success means ensuring that all technology changes are delivered efficiently, with minimal risk and disruption to services and customers. You will lead the coordination, assessment, and governance of change across complex environments, ensuring compliance with ITIL best practices while adapting processes to meet evolving business needs.

Success in this role will be measured by improved change success rates, reduced incidents related to change, strong stakeholder confidence, and the ability to foster a culture of control, agility, and continuous improvement across change practices. You'll be a key driver in embedding change management into the broader service lifecycle, aligning closely with Release, Transition, and Operational teams.

What will you be doing?

• End-to-End Change Management - Own and operate the IT Change Management process, ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices while aligning with Hyperoptic's business priorities.
• Change Governance & Risk Mitigation - Assess, authorise, and schedule changes to minimise risk and service disruption, while ensuring proper impact analysis and stakeholder communication.
• Cross-Team Collaboration - Work closely with Service Transition, Release Management, Operations, and Project teams to ensure smooth, coordinated change implementation.
• Process Improvement & Reporting - Continuously review and improve the Change Managementprocess and tooling, driving efficiency and automation where possible. Produce clear metrics and reporting for leadership.
• Change Advisory Board (CAB) Leadership - Chair or coordinate CAB meetings, ensuring that changes are reviewed, prioritised, and communicated effecti

What We Are Looking For

• ITIL Foundation certification (V3 or 4)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Network, Business, or related fiel
• Proven experience in IT Change Management within a medium to largescale IT environment.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and how Change integrates with Service Transition, Release, and Operation
• Experience leading Change Advisory Boards (CAB) and managing the full change lifecycle
• ITIL Practitioner or Intermediate/Managing Professional certification - DESIRABLE
• Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) or relevant training - DESIRABLE
