OCSiAl's mission is to improve the specific properties of all base materials, making the world a better place for all living beings. We are pursuing this mission by developing universal nanotube solutions and introducing them into the manufacturing industry. This is leading to the creation of a new generation of nanoaugmented materials and end products, whose previously unobtainable properties will become the standard for consumer expectations.

Position Overview:

Responsible for financial planning, monitoring and controlling of capital expenditures (CAPEX). This role ensures that investment projects are aligned with budgeted targets, company's strategy and financial policies, whilst providing management with accurate reporting and analysis to support decision-making.

Reporting: Reports to Finance Director of OCSiAl Balkan (locally).

Responsibilities (Tasks):

  • Supports project managers in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting of investment and operational projects;
  • Monitor project costs against provided budgets, analyze variances and highlight risk and opportunities;
  • Ensure proper allocation of project related expenses to correct cost centers/departments, fixed asset groups and general ledger accounts;
  • Ensure timely closure of CAPEX projects and transfer to fixed assets;
  • Monitor asset capitalization, upgrades, depreciation and disposals in alignment with accounting standards
  • Track project milestones and ensure alignment between financial reporting and project execution;
  • Participation in monthly and quarterly management reporting;
  • Participation in the automation of management and accounting processes based on ERP;
  • Collaboration with other departments for cross-functional task agenda

Required Qualifications:

  • Higher education;
  • Experience in accounting/controlling in Serbian Accounting standards and IFRS at least 3 years
  • Experience in CAPEX tracking;
  • Experience in working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite etc.);
  • MS Office proficiency, especially Excel;
  • Fluent in Serbian, proficient in English.
