About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated
Backend Developer
to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems, with a strong emphasis on microservices architecture and SQL-based data solutions.

As a
Backend Developer
in our
team
you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs.
  • Build and manage microservices based architectures.
  • Write efficient, testable, and reusable code.
  • Model and manage SQL databases with a focus on performance and integrity.
  • Document system architecture, data flows, and components clearly.
  • Create technical specifications, sequence diagrams, and high-level designs before writing code.
  • Work closely with DevOps, Frontend developers, and Product teams.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.

About you

  • You have 3+ years of backend development experience.
  • You are proficient with Python (familiarity with other languages such as Rust or Go is more than welcome).
  • You have solid understanding of microservices architecture.
  • You have an experience working with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • You are familiar with NoSQL DBs such as Mongo DB, Elasticsearch, etc.
  • You have demonstrated ability to design before coding — using proper documentation techniques. (e.g., flowcharts, ER diagrams, sequence diagrams, architecture diagrams).
  • You are comfortable with writing and reading system documentation as part of day-to-day work.
  • You are familiar with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • You have strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.

It would be an advantage if you have an experience with some of the following:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud platforms.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
