Supply Chain Coordinator Team Leader

Position Summary

The role is responsible for coordinating with vendors and internal teams, planning and executing transport, managing carriers, and ensuring timely delivery at the most efficient cost. The position also ensures that all purchase orders are delivered within agreed timelines, with required documentation, while continuously optimizing processes and maintaining high service quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer orders from planning to delivery, selecting the best carriers/vendors based on price, value, and transit time.
  • Monitor shipments, adjust mode of transport/service level when needed, and ensure timely execution.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, carriers, suppliers, and warehouses regarding order status, milestones, and potential delays.
  • Ensure accurate system updates, reporting, and invoicing validation.
  • Handle exceptions, claims, escalations, and ad hoc requests, especially during peak periods (Month/Quarter/Year End).
  • Drive root cause analysis on transport issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Present performance reports to clients and management on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Ensure compliance with company and client policies, standards, and audit requirements.
  • Lead and develop the team by delegating tasks, mentoring, training, conducting appraisals, and monitoring KPIs.
  • Manage team schedules, attendance, and overall performance improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize supply chain processes and add value to clients and the organization.

Candidate Profile:

  • VI degree of professional qualification.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Relevant experience in logistics and international transport (air/sea/road).
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain operations and carrier/vendor management.
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a team.
  • Excellent delegation, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Conflict-resolution skills with a proactive, accountable, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in SCM systems, TMS, and ERP platforms.
