Keeping Supply Chains Moving

We're searching for an experienced Operations Lead who thrives in the fast-paced world of logistics and supply chain management. This is a role where you'll combine leadership, process optimization, and client focus to ensure everything runs smoothly, from documentation to on-time deliveries.

Your Mission

As an Operations Lead, you'll be responsible for coordinating daily activities across multiple teams. You'll make sure that operations stay on track, KPIs are met, and clients receive top-quality service. Beyond the day-to-day, you'll also work on continuous improvement, streamlining workflows, analyzing performance data, and driving initiatives that improve efficiency and reliability.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and organizing daily activities across your teams (documentation, freight, audits)
  • Monitoring team performance, setting goals, and ensuring service levels stay high
  • Keeping material and information flow seamless, solving issues before they become problems
  • Managing logistics service providers (LSPs) and building strong vendor relationships
  • Developing and updating SOPs to match client and company standards
  • Acting as the main escalation point for stakeholders, resolving challenges quickly
  • Preparing reports, improvement plans, and project updates for management and clients
  • Coaching, mentoring, and onboarding new team members to grow a strong team

Your Profile

A degree in Transport & Traffic Engineering, Economics, Organizational Science, or related

5+ years of experience in logistics/transport operations

Strong understanding of supply chain processes and vendor management

Proven track record as a team leader with mentoring skills

Analytical mindset with a proactive, solutions-driven approach

Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities

Fluent in English (spoken & written), German is a plus, strong MS Office skills
