Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate accounting and tax records.
  • Executing payments, managing client-bank systems, and handling foreign currency operations.
  • Processing and analyzing contracts and primary documentation.
  • Archiving and controlling primary financial documents.
  • Managing payments to contractors and customers, preparing reconciliation statements, and monitoring outstanding debts.
  • Full cycle of fixed asset accounting (accounting and tax): posting, commissioning, depreciation, modernization, relocation, and disposal.
  • Payroll calculation and processing for seventy-five employees.
  • Preparing and submitting all required reporting documentation (including VAT reports).
  • Closing accounting periods according to the internal schedule and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Accountant position.
  • Higher education in accounting and auditing, economics, or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of Serbian accounting and tax legislation.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Pantheon (Datalab) and eFaktura.
  • Handling and processing of primary documents (expense invoices, return invoices, mutual reconciliations).
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Intermediate English or higher.
  • "Nice to have": strong teamwork skills and sociability.
