The Article Master Specialist plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing YouGov's product database, within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector. This role ensures accurate coding, classification, and quality control of product data, supporting the integrity of consumer purchase records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Coding: Accurately code new FMCG products into the database, ensuring correct classification based on product features and attributes.
  • Database Maintenance: Continuously update and refine the product database to reflect market changes and ensure consistency, deactivating delisted or discontinued products, verifying article attributes to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other data management and operations teams to ensure seamless data flow and consistency.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data.
  • Good command of English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); familiarity with internal tools and systems is a plus.
  • Enjoys researching and validating product information from multiple sources.
  • Proactive and open to suggesting improvements.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
