Join a global, distributed team to develop scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for processing large datasets that generate critical business reports. You will work primarily with the latest Scala and Spark versions, ensuring accurate statistical algorithms for key stakeholders.

: This role requires willingness to work up to 12 am PST.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and validate scalable Spark/Scala data pipelines
  • Ensure accuracy and performance of data processing algorithms
  • Support infrastructure development and deployment pipelines

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Scala and Apache Spark
  • Proficiency with Hadoop ecosystem and distributed computing concepts
  • Experience with processing frameworks such as Kafka and Spark SQL/DataFrames
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, Postgres, Teradata, Cassandra)
  • Willingness to work evening shifts up to 12 am PST.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience implementing data lakes, data warehousing, or analytics systems
