Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the function and security of all computer hardware and ensure that it is operating properly
  • Keep a record of all hardware, software, and purchased IT equipment
  • Ensure that all software runs with no errors according to specifications
  • Prepare reports regarding the systems and issues related while maintaining the documentation of the system configuration
  • Understand all the department working procedures and perform the related tasks as described
  • Knowledge of IP network switches and routers, wireless networks, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP
  • Carry out the repairs and maintenance of all PCs, printers, anti-virus, on-site systems, etc.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and supporting local network issues
  • Maintain all users access requests and authorizations (Windows, E-mail, etc)
  • Act as the point of contact for all outside agents in all computer technology-related matters
  • Respond to all users requests and provide them with adequate support

Skills and Education:

  • A strong command of French and English
  • Degree within the Information Technology field
  • Previous 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role along with proven knowledge in the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on and flexible approach and ability to adapt to unpredictable events.
  • Proactive and reliable to work in a busy fast environment and stay calm under pressure and have attention to detail.
