Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide financial and administrative support within the Finance department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of intercompany invoicing, employee travel expenses, and other business-related costs. The role will also support the Finance Manager in monitoring accounting postings performed by the GBS team, maintain communication with external accounting and tax consultants, and ensure that all charges to and from group entities are properly documented and aligned with company policies and accounting standards.

What You Will Do

  • Understanding of processes and organizational structure within the company, and how they are recorded in SAP and reflected in the financial statements of adidas Serbia.
  • As part of Accounting and Tax team, contribute to compliance of tax requirements, local statutory and group accounting policies.
  • Support preparation and issuance of intercompany invoices in line with group policies and agreed timelines.
  • Collect, review, and analyse all expenses subject to intercompany recharge.
  • Process and monitor all business expenses related to employee travel.
  • Post different business transactions per Group and local statutory requirements.
  • Act as a point of contact for the external accounting agency, tax consultants and auditors, providing required documentation and clarifications.
  • Collaborate closely with the GBS team to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with internal controls.
  • Monitor accounting and tax operations & report on irregularities, to Senior Finance Manager.
  • Responsible for any ad hoc accounting and tax request by Senior Finance Manager.

Skills You Will Need

  • Local GAAP and tax legislation – Familiar with IFRS
  • Strong process understanding of accounting and finance relevant processes
  • SAP Knowledge
  • Advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks.
  • University Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Minimum 2 years of Accounting experience preferably in a multinational environment
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
