IFRS Reporting Accountant – Turkey Scope

As an IFRS Reporting Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for Avon's operations in Turkey. You'll lead the monthly close process, manage IFRS adjustments, and support internal audits and compliance activities. This role is central to maintaining high-quality financial records and ensuring our reporting meets both internal and external standards. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement in our finance processes.

  • Leading the monthly close process and preparing financial reports, accruals, and IFRS submissions
  • Managing IFRS adjustments and ensuring accurate balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting internal audits and ensuring compliance with SOX controls and internal procedures
  • Preparing and submitting IFRS-related filings in line with local and corporate requirements
  • Collaborating with finance, tax, and control teams to improve processes and share best practices

  • Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality in reporting and accounting activities

  • Experience in finance or accounting, ideally within a multinational environment

  • A degree in Finance or Accounting, with a professional accounting certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and accounting systems
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment and collaborating across teams
