Senior Technical Marketing Specialist

As the foundational hire for the Technical Marketing execution team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how Grid Dynamics communicates its value to the market. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role for a mid-to-senior level professional, with an expected balance of
80% execution and 20% strategy
. Your primary mission is to create compelling technical content that educates and engages senior technical leaders at our clients, including Directors, VPs of Engineering, and CTOs. You will be instrumental in translating our complex data engineering and AI solutions into clear, measurable business value.
Role
Your success in this role will be evaluated based on the Technical Marketing department's key performance indicators as defined in our marketing framework:
Primary KPI: Attributed Technical Leads
- Rationale: This directly measures how many leads or qualified contacts are generated from the department's core output (whitepapers, webinars, technical blogs), connecting your educational efforts to business results.
Secondary KPI: Content Engagement Score
- Rationale: This provides a quality check, ensuring the content is not just generating clicks but is deeply engaging the right technical audience.
Responsibilities
Content Creation & Asset Management:
- Develop and execute a content strategy focused on establishing Grid Dynamics as an AI innovation leader through technical thought leadership (e.g., whitepapers, articles, conference presentations).
- Create and manage a portfolio of core marketing assets, including solution accelerator demonstrations, in-depth solution decks, and demo videos that showcase our pre-built capabilities.
- Produce industry-specific case studies and web content that highlight our vertical expertise and resonate with a senior technical leadership audience.
- Market our specific technology services to potential and existing clients.
Sales & Market Education
- Provide the sales team with the sophisticated technical content required to support a senior-level sales cycle.
- Educate the market on our practice capabilities and the measurable business value we deliver.
- Help run "Dynamic Talks" and prepare for participation in tech conferences.
Collaboration
- Partner with CTO architects and technical leadership to deeply understand our capabilities and creatively position them for the market.
- Work closely with the Brand & Communications team to develop client case studies.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure the technical accuracy and real-world relevance of our marketing content.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in a product or technical marketing role within a B2B technology or professional services firm.
- Proven ability to create marketing content for a senior technical leadership audience (Director, VP, C-level).
- A self-starter mentality, comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the opportunity to build processes and a function from the ground up.
- Specific knowledge of the data engineering and AI domains, with a strong ability to understand and articulate the purpose and business value of complex solutions in these fields.
- Demonstrated experience creating a variety of marketing assets (web content, presentations, whitepapers, etc.).
