On behalf of our client, an international successful company with stable and growing operations, we are seeking a
Financial Controller
who will take responsibility for financial planning, analysis, and the controlling function.

The Financial Controller will oversee and manage all financial control activities within the company, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and internal financial policies. This role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining robust internal controls, and supporting strategic business decisions through financial analysis and guidance. The position covers all finance and accounting operations of the company, including general ledger management, statutory reporting, internal and external audits, tax compliance, budgeting, and cost control.

Main Responsibilities:


• Oversee daily financial operations and ensure the accuracy of accounting records


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local and international (IFRS) accounting standards


• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes


• Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with Group finance policies and procedures


• Supervise and support the accounting team in month-end and year-end closing activities, in line with Group timelines and standards


• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and local institutions to ensure full compliance with statutory obligations


• Support business management in investment decisions, CAPEX reviews, and cost optimization initiatives


• Oversee accurate financial consolidation and ensure consistency between management and statutory reporting


• Partner with operational management to translate financial data into actionable insights for business improvement

Qualifications & Experience:


• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field


• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling or accounting


• Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and controlling processes


• Strong knowledge of Serbian accounting and tax regulations; familiarity with IFRS


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills


• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)


• Fluency in English (written and spoken
