For our client, we are looking for a motivated candidate to join their team as: Finance Controller Belgrade Job Description: 1. Financial Oversight and Coordination: o Act as the primary point of contact with the accounting agency, ensuring accurate and timely financial record -keeping. o Review monthly financial reports, accruals, and reconciliations to maintain accuracy and compliance with company policies. o Establish and oversee internal controls to safeguard assets and enhance financial processes. 2. Banking and Cash Flow Management: o Manage communication with banks, including account setups, credit lines, fund transfers, and financial transactions. o Monitor the company's cash flow, prepare forecasts, and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational efficiency. o Identify opportunities to optimize cash flow and enhance working capital management. 3. Taxation and Compliance: o Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws, staying updated on regulatory changes. o Liaise with tax consultants and authorities for tax filings, audits, and advisory matters. o Oversee VAT reporting and ensure timely submission of all tax -related documents. 4. Audit and Financial Reporting: o Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely delivery of accurate financial data and documentation. o Prepare financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key metrics and actionable insights. o Ensure compliance with IFRS and other relevant financial reporting standards. 5. Process Improvement and IT Collaboration: o Collaborate with ERP providers to ensure efficient and accurate reporting systems. o Develop financial workflows and reporting templates tailored to business needs. 6. Strategic Budgeting and Forecasting: o Conduct the budgeting process, working closely with cost owners to prepare accurate and comprehensive budgets. o Analyze variances and provide recommendations to enhance financial planning. o Prepare forecasts to support management in strategic decision -making. 7. Administration management o Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and effectively. o Manage company documentation, including contracts, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper organization and compliance. Requirements Qualifications and Skills: ​ • Proven experience in finance, accounting, or a related field • Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax compliance, and IFRS standards. • Proficiency in using ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. • Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and drive process improvements.
