Finance Manager

Role: Finance Manager

Location: Belgrade/Kragujevac

Key Responsibilities:

In charge of financial and accounting operations of the Employer, cost control, budgeting and tax

Responsible for preparation and submission of financial reports

Responsible for the development of the business plan and its implementation

Reviews financial documentation

Controls the collection of receivables and payments to suppliers for goods and services

Responsible for controlling the company income - monitoring the state and movement of money in

all cash registers and company accounts, as well as tracking income (refunds, sale of fixed assets, goods, etc.)

Responsible for controlling the calculated fees from the activity, communal fees and of other fiscal and parafiscal levies and is responsible for the data submitted to the Tax Administration and especially to the Authorities

Responsible for the company liquidity - preparation of inflow and outflow projections monitors the company's liquidity situation on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, alerts superiors in cases of lack of liquidity and makes suggestions for overcoming possible liquidity mismatch

Communicates with banks and other financial institutions - agrees and negotiates conditions with banks (loans, bank guarantees, payment conditions, exchange rate, etc.), agrees and negotiates terms with payment processors and insurance companies

Follows current and relevant tax policy, including current tax laws incentives, as well as announced changes in tax policy, plans activities in accordingly and proposes measures for tax optimization of the company

Controls and negotiates financial terms on all contracts

Responsible for compliance with the financial conditions and performs the control of the required documentation in accordance with the conditions of all concluded contracts

Proposes and implements innovations within the area of responsibility - introduction of new and improvement of existing software solutions, automates business processes, responsible for introducing new and changing existing forms reports in software in accordance with legal and internal needs

Responsible for creating internal finance procedures, designs and implements systems of internal control of compliance with procedures in its field

Responsible for renewing licenses and permits necessary to perform the company activities

Analyzes the profitability of investment projects in accordance with internationally recognized standards methods (IRR, NPV, payback period, etc.) and sets acceptance criteria for investment projects in consultation with superiors

Follows and applies legal regulations in the domain of their scope of work

Responsible for defining and implementing all standard operating procedures within the area of responsibility

Provides support in fulfilling the annual goals of its associates, monitors their progress and is responsible for the fulfillment of the objectives within the area of responsibility

Responsible for implementing the individual development plan of his associates, as well as recognition and continuous work with employees

Must apply all adopted standards and procedures

Required Qualifications:

University degree (Finance and Accounting preferred)

5+ years experience in managerial positions in Finance or Accounting

SAP, Microsoft Navision or Business Central proficiency will be considered a plus

IAS/IFRS knowledge

Strong Leadership skills

Proficient English language communication skills
