Client Analyst/Accounts Receivable Specialist

In a nutshell 

We are looking for a commercially minded Client Analyst to join the growing Finance team, who will work alongside the rest of the Operations Team (IT, People, Office Management etc) to support the business.

They will be a key team player, ensuring they live by our values and support the Finance team in meeting their financial objectives. Commercially minded with experience of business partnering with client owners, project accounting, billing, collecting & allocating cash and credit control. The role will be based in the London office. We have a hybrid working arrangement in place and expect the Finance Team to come in on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

Key responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving client setup in Salesforce, ensuring details (e.g. currency, contacts, address, terms, start/end date etc.) are consistent with the contract, and are updated when necessary;
• For a set of Client/Project owners:
  • organise and document billing schedules for each client
  • obtain POs and raise invoices each month for the Group on a timely basis to minimise the accrued income balance
  • where clients have portals, invoices need to be uploaded and status monitored
  • liaise with owners on a regular basis to resolve queries, chase POs, confirm revenue recognition
  • credit control of clients
  • posting and allocating cash receipts, managing debtors, chasing for remittances where required
  • project reconciliations, e.g. ensuring sales and costs amounts in Salesforce agree back to customer/supplier invoices sent/received
  • investigating any issues and following up with the client
  • forecasting revenue by project in Salesforce and Paprika
  • running reports in Salesforce
• Company overview of debtors and accrued income tracking any updates;
• Company overview of billing and collections tracking any updates;
• Support the financial audit by ensuring project documentation is accurate and complete and ensuring the correct revenue recognition;
• Monthly and ad-hoc reporting working with Salesforce, Paprika and the Resource Management System (Float); and
• Ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

Key competencies

The ideal candidate must have:

• Experience with Salesforce (not essential);
• Experience with Paprika (not essential);
• Proficient on Excel – pivots, vlookups, sumifs etc.;
• An excellent can-do attitude and positive work ethic – hardworking and reliable;
  
• Proactive and adaptive to a fast-changing environment;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• A high level of accuracy and good time management skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
