We have partnered with one of the leading banks in the region, and we are looking for an experienced and proactive professional to join their
Strategy and Business Development Division
as a
Project Portfolio Management Team Coordinator
. This is a key role responsible for overseeing the bank's project portfolio and ensuring strategic alignment across initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the work of team members, provide guidance, oversee task quality and scope, manage resources, and ensure smooth team operations, including coaching and training where needed
  • Manage the Bank's
    project portfolio
    – an optimized combination of programs and projects aligned with the Bank's strategic goals
  • Maintain a comprehensive project overview and monitor progress on a monthly basis
  • Manages the Bank's project budget, the human resources allocated to project-related activities, and the risks associated with the project portfolio
  • Supervise all strategic implementation projects and key group-level initiatives
  • Ensure consistent execution of core transformation elements defined by the Bank's strategy
  • Develop and maintain the project management methodology and its application across the organization
  • Prepare reports for the Executive and Management Board, project steering committees, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Oversee the end-to-end project portfolio lifecycle: gathering, selecting, and prioritizing project initiatives
  • Provide hands-on support to project managers (PMO support), including project coordination, documentation, issue resolution, risk and budget management, interdependency management, business case development, and monitoring of project outcomes
  • Cooperate with other business unit leaders to ensure high-quality and efficient project execution
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external consultants and third parties, as required
  • Monitor and evaluate modern project management practices with the goal of increasing team efficiency and optimizing workflows
  • Propose improvements to project management processes, methodologies, and tools
  • Produce regular and ad hoc reports and analyses related to project portfolio operations
  • Work closely with the Strategy and Innovation team to align and maintain both strategic and operational project roadmaps
  • Ensure data confidentiality in accordance with legal and internal banking policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in economics, social sciences, or technical fields)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles
  • Excellent understanding of key business processes and related technical solutions, as well as project and portfolio management practices
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Initiative, motivation, and creative thinking
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office and project management tools)
