About the role

Position is responsible for providing the most logistically efficient process from communication with the transport client – client to the service provider (carrier), as well as monitoring the status during the realization of transport. In this role, you will ensure efficient logistics processes by liaising between clients and service providers.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders, planning, execution, and deliveries
  • Communicate with factories and distribution centers for timely loading
  • Follow up on orders, adjust transport modes, and ensure cost efficiency
  • Control carrier orders, monitor routes, costs, and urgency
  • Provide timely updates and proactive communication with all parties
  • Follow up on deliveries, update systems, and keep customers informed
  • Ensure information flow among carriers, vendors, and customers
  • Handle communication and ensure timely supplier/customer responses
  • Address transport defects and document root causes and actions
  • Validate orders for invoicing and assist with invoice verification
  • Prepare and lead during high peak seasons with logistics reports
  • Manage exceptions, claims, and vendor engagement to resolve issues
  • Obtain quotes for customs requests and manage ad hoc processes
  • Communicate performance results with internal/external parties

Position requirements

  • Preferable (but not limited to) degree from Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Organizational Science, or similar
  • 3+ years of experience within supply chain industry or global business organization
  • Experience in FTL & LTL and courier (small parcels) scope
  • Understanding of the supply chain process
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency in English language
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
