Job Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Works directly with customers to resolve recurring or standard problems
- Collaborates with internal teams to resolve hardware or software issues
- Reviews incident history to identify recurring faults
- Provides technical support and assistance to clients and businesses regarding hardware and software issues
- Supports installation, configuration, and updates of hardware and software
- Allocates resources for jobs requiring multiple on-site technicians
- Updates work orders and provides status information
- May handle escalated calls
- Participates in product training or customer base training
- May implement remote fixes using guided search for diagnosis across multiple products
- Applies troubleshooting checklists
- Develops knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and desktop diagnostic tools
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with PC applications and tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
