Job Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Works directly with customers to resolve recurring or standard problems
  • Collaborates with internal teams to resolve hardware or software issues
  • Reviews incident history to identify recurring faults
  • Provides technical support and assistance to clients and businesses regarding hardware and software issues
  • Supports installation, configuration, and updates of hardware and software
  • Allocates resources for jobs requiring multiple on-site technicians
  • Updates work orders and provides status information
  • May handle escalated calls
  • Participates in product training or customer base training
  • May implement remote fixes using guided search for diagnosis across multiple products
  • Applies troubleshooting checklists
  • Develops knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and desktop diagnostic tools

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with PC applications and tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
