We're seeking a highly skilled Controlling Associate to join our team in Belgrade. As a Controlling Associate, you'll be responsible for supporting accounting and reporting for Adriatica entities, including PR creation, GL postings, month-end close, and Fixed Asset maintenance. You'll also cover T&E administration and coordination with GBS and Corporate Accounting.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create daily purchase requisitions, ensuring proper material group assignment considering VAT, PIT, WHT, and GL account prospective.
  2. Manage payroll files and clear OPEX/Leasing booking for the Bosnian representative office.
  3. Participate in monthly closing for IFRS and Local Reporting: Prepare and submit GL templates to the global processing center.
  4. Control Fixed Asset and Inventory modules in SAP: process retirements/sales, monthly revaluations, and depreciation postings; coordinate finance lease entries.
  5. Prepare quarterly STAT FCF reports and support inventory/asset counts.
  6. Oversight of AP/AR processing by GBS; reconcile intercompany receivables, liabilities, and expenses.
  7. Monitor employee T&E, ensuring tax compliance (PIT/WHT) and coordinating with external agencies.
  8. Submit RLP invoices manually and support year-end IFRS/statutory reporting, including statistical reports.
  9. Communicate with auditors and tax authorities: provide documentation, explain SAP transactions, and deliver reports.
  10. Support FP&A, GSC, and Leaf Finance with reports, variance analysis, and closing.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in economics or finance, economics, or a related field.
  2. 3 years of accounting experience.
  3. Good command of English, especially accounting terminology.
  4. Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP/ERP is a plus.
  5. Familiarity with statutory and IFRS principles, and local tax regulations.
  6. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  7. Ability to work under pressure; flexible, detail-oriented, and a team player.
