Accountant Job Description

FP Markets is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join its Payments Team.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and handle financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate records in systems.
  • Collaborate effectively across departments, resolving issues and addressing client inquiries.
  • Work closely with the Back Office Manager to address transaction-related issues.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and provide timely resolutions for client requests and complaints.
  • Reconcile payment discrepancies with customers and service providers through multiple communication channels.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in accounting or financial services is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, CRM systems, and financial platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with various teams and external partners.
