Job Summary
We are looking for a competent
Collections Specialist
to contact customers and collect outstanding invoices. You will struck a balance between maintaining trustful relationships, and ensuring timely payments of outstanding balances. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as an ability to work independently.

Working hours:
1 - 9pm

Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers to collect overdue payments
  • Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with customers
  • Investigate historical data for each debt or bill
  • Support timely debt payments and resolve billing issues
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Assist with AR reporting and analysis
  • Receivable performance review
  • Reconciling customer accounts
  • Assist in other AR / billing tasks
  • Ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:

  • Up to 4 years of experience as a Collection Specialist or in a similar role
  • Good command of the English language
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel- vlookup, pivot table)
  • Familiarity with billing procedures and collection techniques
  • Comfortable working with targets
  • Experience with using data to drive decision making
  • Patience and ability to manage high volume of customer requests
  • Problem-solving skills
