Relationship Executive - London
About Attivo:
Attivo is a Chartered Financial Planning firm committed to helping clients achieve financial wellbeing through personalised, high-quality advice and long-term planning.
As an independent and forward-thinking business, we're focused on building lasting relationships founded on trust, integrity, and a genuine understanding of our clients' needs. Our approach is designed around the client experience; professional, proactive, and always personal.
Within Attivo we have an independent Estate Planning practice based in the heart of London. Our work with clients helps them to simplify their estates while protecting and preserving legacies for generations to come. Our work with families often spans multiple generations with Attivo acting as the trusted point of contact for all estate planning matters.
About the role:
We are looking for a dedicated Relationship Executive to support and enhance the relationships we hold with our valued clients. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for a designated client portfolio, ensuring every interaction reflects Attivo's commitment to excellence. A core part of this role involves managing post-event engagement, including following up with prospective clients from seminars and webinars and guiding them into the estate planning journey, often by booking or conducting initial Discovery Meetings. The role will involve a high volume of client phone calls, requiring confidence, professionalism, and a warm communication style to build rapport and maintain relationships effectively.
This is a highly rewarding, client-facing role with a strong focus on relationship management, pipeline conversion, and exceptional service delivery.
About you:
You're a confident and proactive communicator who genuinely enjoys building relationships. You're comfortable speaking with a wide range of clients, often by phone, and can lead engaging, insightful conversations that help clients feel informed and supported.
You have a background in financial planning, legal services, or professional services and are looking for a role that balances service, communication, and relationship development. You'll thrive in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment and take pride in delivering a consistently excellent client experience.
The successful candidate will need to be based at our London Office a minimum of 4 days per week, with the option to work remotely the remaining day. We value work-life balance and offer flexible working alongside our hybrid approach.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as a main point of contact for prospective and existing clients within the Estate Planning practice
- Act as a champion of the Client Journey, continually seeking to improve service delivery and client satisfaction at every interaction.
- Follow up with event and seminar attendees to qualify interest and guide them into the client journey
- Book and/or lead initial Discovery Meetings to understand client needs and assess service alignment
- Maintain accurate and timely records in CRM systems, managing client pipelines and touchpoints
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of advice
- Identify and support opportunities for wider client needs, including referrals and intergenerational planning
- Produce regular activity reports, including pipeline performance, conversion rates and ROI
- Ensure timely, compliant documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of the client experience
- Support the identification of cross-service opportunities and natural relationship expansion, such as referrals, generational planning, or additional financial needs.
Essential skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a client-facing role in financial planning, legal or professional services
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with attention to detail
- Comfortable conducting client meetings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Client-focused, proactive and aligned with Attivo's values of service, integrity and continuous improvement
Desirable skills and experience:
- Working knowledge of estate or financial planning concepts
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards)
- Experience with Intelligent Office (iO) or similar CRM systems
- Experience in legal, advice, or client services settings
Salary and benefits:
- £40,000 basic salary plus performance related bonus
- Non-contributory Pension Scheme (8%)
- Private Medical Insurance
- Cashplan
- Income Protection
- Critical Illness cover
- Death in Service
- Parking allowance
- Generous holiday allowance, rising with length of service
