Job Description

As a
Junior AI Automation Generalist
you design and implement practical solutions that automate repetitive work and make information flows smoother. The focus is on using and combining existing automation and AI platforms rather than developing everything from scratch. You will create workflows, connect systems, use scripts where needed, and optimise AI agents or models so that processes run reliably and efficiently. Clear documentation is part of the job so that colleagues and clients can easily continue with your work.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse business processes and translate them into automated workflows
  • Configure and optimise AI-powered agents and automation platforms
  • Integrate APIs and data sources into existing systems
  • Maintain and monitor self-hosted AI models and other automation services
  • Produce clear documentation and handovers for colleagues and customers
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and, when needed, directly with clients

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with AI and automation tools in daily work
  • Ability to combine platforms and write small scripts (Python or JavaScript) for data processing or API calls
  • Good understanding of large language models and prompt design
  • Logical, step-by-step thinking and the ability to clearly explain technical choices
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Residence in Serbia
  • Ability and willingness to work on-site in Novi Sad

Nice to Have

  • Experience with no/low-code automation platforms such as
    , Zapier or n8n
  • Familiarity with AI providers like
    OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude or Gemini
  • Experience deploying or maintaining
    self-hosted LLMs
    (e.g. Ollama, LM Studio)
  • Knowledge of
    agent frameworks
    or configuring custom LLMs
  • Experience documenting processes for non-technical users
