We are currently looking for an experienced
Senior Accountant
for Playstudios EU. This position will report to the Finance Manager in Playstudios EU and will work closely with US Corporate Finance to manage accounting processing and provide accounting support to our local finance team for Playstudios Europe and Playstudios Israel. All key responsibilities are relevant to the entity in Serbia, Israel, and international entities.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist with accounting activities for international subsidiaries, including accounts payable, general ledger, intercompany transactions, and monthly close processes.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and routine and non-routine journal entries as needed.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and assist with SOX-related audit procedures.
• Prepare and submit monthly VAT calculations, SEF reports, and other compliance reports.
• Communicate with banks and prepare necessary financial documents.
• Collaborate with external service providers to ensure international regulatory and tax compliance, including VAT/GST reporting and tax refunds/credits.
• Participate in payroll preparation, calculation review, payroll entries and payroll reporting.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Bachelor's Degree (Faculty of Economics).
• Proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel) is compulsory.
• Strong understanding of Labour Law and Personal income tax.
• Good knowledge of IFRS for SME.
• Adherence to prescribed procedures and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• An analytical and systematic approach to work.

Preferred

• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, Dayforce and FloQast would be considered a plus.
