LANDSCAPE MANAGER

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Landscape Manager is responsible for overseeing all landscape design and implementation activities within Belgrade Waterfront. The role involves managing the design process, coordinating technical teams, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with project standards. The Landscape Manager ensures seamless integration of landscape works with architectural and infrastructure projects, supervises contractors, resolves technical issues, and supports successful project delivery from concept to completion

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate and approve proposed landscape concepts and projects for Belgrade Waterfront.
  • Manage the concept design process and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and best practices
  • Coordinate technical designers to guarantee integration between landscape, building, and infrastructure works
  • Oversee the design and delivery of landscape utilities infrastructure from early development stages through handover to construction
  • Direct and manage external consultants involved in landscape design
  • Prepare landscape design sections for RFP documents, ensuring accurate requirements are included
  • Evaluate bids for compliance with design standards and support contract negotiations on design aspects
  • Monitor landscape-related budgets and ensure financial accountability
  • Review detailed drawings and supervise contractors to confirm construction progress aligns with technical specifications
  • Support project implementation by resolving technical issues, attending coordination meetings, and validating practical solutions
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to identify and address landscape-related challenges, ensuring sustainable and high-quality outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • The ideal candidate holds a degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field, with proven experience managing large scale landscape projects in real estate or urban development
  • A minimum of 7–10 years of professional experience is required, including substantial involvement in design management, consultant coordination, and construction supervision
  • Candidates should demonstrate expertise in landscape design standards, infrastructure integration, and contract administration, together with strong knowledge of sustainable design practices and placemaking principles
  • Proficiency in project management, budget monitoring, and technical documentation is essential, along with familiarity with international codes and best practices

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, with the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and public authorities
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to act in clients' best interests
  • Strong stakeholder management and effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to resolve complex technical and coordination issues
  • Adaptability and resilience in managing multiple projects simultaneously within dynamic development environments
