The Opportunity

We are seeking a
qualified Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Coach
based in
Serbia
to support our mining clients in strengthening safety leadership and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings extensive mining or heavy-industry experience, practical field insight, and a strong "people-first" coaching mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site coaching and mentoring to frontline and supervisory personnel, helping to drive safe behaviours and leadership.
  • Support implementation of HSE management systems and critical risk programs within mining operations.
  • Facilitate leadership conversations, toolbox sessions, learning reviews and field engagement sessions.
  • Monitor field performance and guide improvement in hazard identification, reporting, verification and follow-through practices.
  • Assist clients in aligning with international standards and industry best-practice, including frameworks such as ISO 45001.

Requirements

  • 10–20 years' experience in the mining or heavy industry sector, with substantial HSE leadership, coaching or mentoring experience
  • Demonstrated background in Health, Safety & Environment with a practice, field-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in
    English and Serbian
    (written and spoken).
  • Additional languages (e.g., Chinese, French, Spanish, or Russian) considered an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and cross-cultural engagement skills; able to work effectively with diverse workforces.
  • Willingness to work on remote or rotational rosters as required.
  • Driver's license required.
