Sales Representative

to join our team.

Position Overview

The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving sales growth of our packaging machinery solutions in the Southeast territory. This role requires strong technical sales skills, experience with capital equipment sales, and the ability to consult with clients on production and packaging line needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase market share in the Southeast region.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with manufacturers, distributors, and end users.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and site visits with prospective clients.
  • Work closely with engineering and technical teams to provide tailored solutions for customer applications.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in line with company policies.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain records in CRM system.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience in industrial equipment, machinery, or packaging solutions (capital equipment experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and packaging systems.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Southeast region.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
