Role Overview
For our Belgrade office, we are seeking a
Sales Development Representative (SDR)
to join our sales team and support our growth by identifying, engaging and qualifying potential clients.
This is a pivotal role focused on the early stages of the sales cycle, where you will be the first point of contact, representing InterVenture to decision-makers in the tech industry.
As an SDR, you will research target companies, craft personalized outreach messages and create opportunities for our Account Executives to close.
You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies, improve outreach and build a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential client companies in our target markets: DACH region, UK and Nordics.
- Proactively reach out to prospects via LinkedIn, email, calls and through automated outreach sequences to generate interest and schedule discovery meetings.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and data-driven insights to personalize outreach and improve conversion rates.
- Build a deep understanding of prospects' needs, challenges and technology landscapes.
- Qualify leads based on their fit for Own Team Model or Ready Team Model offerings.
- Utilize HubSpot beyond standard CRM functions – including workflows, sequences, reporting dashboards and automation features – to manage and optimize the sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and messaging to optimize outreach effectiveness.
- Track and report on key KPIs such as outreach volume, meetings booked and conversion rates.
- Stay informed about nearshoring trends, competitor offerings and market dynamics to confidently speak with decision-makers.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, ideally within the IT outsourcing, software development or tech services industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build relationships.
- University Degree and fluency in English and German (spoken and written).
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and/or other research and prospecting tools.
- Proficiency with HubSpot, including advanced features such as workflows, sequences, dashboards, and reporting.
- Ability to research, structure, and execute outreach campaigns independently.
- Motivated by targets and driven to deliver measurable results.
- Well-organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
