ABOUT THE ROLE:
Sales Development Representative is a position within iBASIS's Global Enterprise Sales team. This position is initiating first contact between a potential customer and iBASIS and is responsible for generating leads doing market research and working together with Sales Management to define the sales strategy in an assigned region.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generate a list of potential customers for the assigned region and initiate first contact;
- Generate and manage a lead list and record activities in CRM;
- Execute go-to-market strategy for the assigned region in agreement with Sales Manager;
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of sales processes and product and service value propositions;
- Generate sales appointments and directly influence sales pipeline;
- Weekly reporting on Sales Development Representative activity, territory updates, industry trends, regional insights, competition news, etc.
ABOUT YOU:
- You have an university degree in business, economics, linguistics or similar;
- 1-2 years in similar business development or sales related positions is a plus;
- Lead generation, account management or sales experience (A2P SMS or digital services is a plus);
- Fluent in English, written and spoken;
- Strong organizational skills and proactive, innovative approach;
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
- The desire for a long-term career in sales and a growth mindset;
- The passion and drive to deliver an exceptional level of achievement.
