Role Overview
We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our high calibre team to help take our strategic partnering support to the next stage of our HR evolution, in line with our People Strategy. As part of the HR team, this role will work with designated business areas on end-to-end management of the employee lifecycle.
This is a role for someone who thrives on rolling up their sleeves while thinking strategically about how people initiatives drive business success. Our ideal candidate will be hands-on, adaptable and willing to analyse and advise on data and metrics one minute and support a manager the next. You'll be the go-to trusted advisor for leaders across the organisation, seamlessly blending strategic thinking with practical execution while adding measurable value to every business line and stakeholder interaction.
Job Role & Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Business Impact
- Work with the team and fellow Partner to deliver
success in line with the People Strategy - Partner closely with business lines to influence key decisions with data-driven insights and strategic thinking
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the drivers of different business areas, anticipating
people requirements and mitigating issues - Translate business strategy into actionable people strategies that drive results across the business
Hands-On Execution & Employee Relations
- Partner with stakeholders to provide seamless support and professional advice on everything from operational matters to more complex issues
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee-related matters, providing guidance and support
- Make qualified decisions swiftly while ensuring HR practices adhere to all local legislation in each of our geographies
- Handle HR transactions efficiently while maintaining focus on strategic priorities
Culture, Engagement & Leadership Development
- Champion and live organisational values, fostering an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance culture
- Coach leaders and build people management capability across all levels, from early in careers to Director level
- Draft, communicate and deliver training that includes inductions, values sessions, systems training, manager sessions and more
Workforce Strategy & Talent Management
- Support succession planning and talent management initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Support key talent acquisition programs to enable the hiring of great candidates into the organisation
- Identify skill gaps and help create development solutions, ensuring career paths align with the people and business strategy
Systems & Process Optimisation
- Be an integral part of the optimisation of the HRIS system (BambooHR)
- Support on HR communication and resources, suggesting and making improvements to drive efficiency
- Promote the HR operating model and encourage efficient, effective ways of working using technology
Collaboration & Partnership
- Build strong relationships across all organisational levels, working closely with business lines and central functions
- Collaborate on organisation-wide projects while developing solutions for specific business needs that align with the strategy
- Support the wider HR team with ad hoc projects and events related to the employee experience
Skills and Experience
Essential Experience & Knowledge
- 3-5 years' demonstrable experience in an HR Partner or HR Generalist
role or equivalent, within a team and working in a Professional Services setting or similar sector (preferable) - Experience influencing stakeholders at all levels of organisations, with strong commercial acumen
- In-depth knowledge of HR-related legislation and best practice in the UK (Irish, US and/or Hong Kong knowledge useful but not essential)
- CIPD qualification (level 5 or higher), similar qualification or equivalent experience would be desirable
Technical Skills
- Good working knowledge of HR-related tools and platforms, including HRIS systems, LinkedIn, and the MS Office Suite
- Highly numerate and able to distil data into digestible commentary and visuals
- Excellent verbal and written communication - able to prepare communications, presentations and training materials quickly
- Proficiency in using related tools and platforms; being AI curious would be desirable
